When Your Twitter Stream Gets Crowded With Tweets You Don’t Read {Tweet Me Tuesday}

I recently discovered a new twitter tool thanks to @MommyPerks and have fallen in love with yet another thing to help me keep my twitter stream down to what I’d like it to be.  I do love chatting with people and for some time there tried to follow mostly every (real) person back it just got to be too much!  I found myself scanning through the pictures of 100 people I didn’t really interact with at all to find the 1 or 2 people I did speak with!

She tweeted out something about a tool called ManageFlitter and you know I had to check it out!  ManageFlitter allows you to unfollow bunches of people at once.  I “unfollowed” almost 200 people that day.

First allow it to connect to twitter

It will work it's magic-relatively quickly too!

You can click any of the filters you see on the left. These also act as symbols when you are looking through a very long list of people!!

Select whomever you wish and unfollow them. Be sure to click "unfollow" before moving to next filter or you lose your selections!

It’s a really easy and pleasant tool to work with. It does the “unfollowing” for you!  Also-something I didn’t notice right off for one reason or another-there will be pages of people to look through (if you’re following lots of people).  Be sure to look through those-I thought it was just the one scroll through at first!
