For those of you on Twitter…maybe you’ve been ‘unfollowed’ before. Chances are, if you’ve been on Twitter a while that you’ve actually been ‘unfollowed’ quite a few times. Are you able to find out who did it? Do you want to know?
There are several tools available to see who is ‘unfollowing’ you on twitter. I’m sure there are more (and if you know of some–share the knowledge!). I lost some of my links last year when my computer crashed-but this should at least get you started!
- Friend or Follow-Shows who you are following that isn’t reciprocating, vice/versa.
- JustUnfollow-I’ve never actually used this one…but it appears to be a mass ‘unfollowing’ tool for those users that don’t follow you back.
- Are You Following Me Too?-Another tool I’ve never used…but seems to me a generalized tool to see if people follow you back.
- Goodbye Buddy-A bot you follow on twitter. Go to their website once daily to find your ‘unfollowers’.
- Qwitter-I actually just found out about this today…and will be updating here with how it works. Supposedly it sends you an e-mail when someone ‘unfollows’ you…even letting you know which tweet may have been possible for the ‘unfollow’.
- Unfollowr–Follow them for a DM of people who ‘unfollow’ you. I know this one works!
- Nutshell Mail-I just started using this one as well…but supposedly it will take care of Twitter AND Facebook…with an e-mail! (I later found their e-mails to be a nuisance and unsubscribed. Some may like it but it just wasn’t for me!)

Here’s how you can participate in “Tweet Me Tuesday”:
Each “Tweet Me Tuesday” Melinda and I plan to post a Twitter tip or resource on our blogs. Here’s where you come in:
· Tweet this post!
· Link up a post you’d like Tweeted using the MckLinky below. It can either be your most recent post or an older, favorite post you’d like to share with a new audience. You only have to put the link to your post at one of our blogs–we are both showing the same exact links. Link up here or there…and grab a button at either place as well!
· Follow Melinda and myself on Twitter! (if you’re not already)
· Visit the links below and try to Tweet at least five posts (linked below).
· Follow as many of these bloggers as you’d like on Twitter. (You can follow their blogs, too.)
· When you tweet a blogger’s post, leave a comment telling them you tweeted it as part of Tweet Me Tuesday.
The MckLinky has been deleted as it was no longer working to view the links. I assume this is because MckLinky is now Linky Tools.
