OK, so…some of you wondered what I truly looked like bald. With all this talk of St. Baldrick’s and raising money for kiddos cancer research…you wanted to see what you were donating for! Well, I have a video and some pictures for your viewing torture pleasure (if you want to call it that)

The ponytail was for Locks of Love…I hope it can make some little kiddo happy.
Don't mind the "blob" on my shirt. I was "blobbing out" my nametag.

So there…I did it. I couldn’t be happier–and it was all for a great cause. Together with my husband we raised a little over $500…so to those of you who donated–YOU ROCK!! We couldn’t have done that without y’alls support! You’ll be hearing more about my experience here and there…so “stay tuned”!

I gotta know- did you cry at any point? I’ve donated to LOL twice now. I never cried but did question myself after doing it- getting used to my hair being very short was tough both times. I think I would have to have one good cry if I shaved my head.

Truly amazing! That is soooo awesome! Love the fact that you didn’t think twice about it!!! I have a aunt who has battled breast cancer and I told her the next time she goes in for chemo I was going to shave my hair right with hers!!! Let me first just say…you are one good looking bald woman! Also my husband had done the same thing only he grew his out on purpose to be cut then it was shaved bald…for the same cause.
The next part is that as a parent to a terminally ill child (though not of cancer) I want to say thank you. They get very tired of being stared at because they are “different”. My stepson has to wear a oxygen tube up his nose. It’s a wonderful thing that you did.
