I was recently privileged to receive some awesome sippy cups and a bottle from a company called Tommee Tippee that rocked my socks y’all! They were awesome. Tommee Tippee is relatively new to the U.S. but the
y have been around the for 50 years…in fact, they are the number one brand of infant and toddler feeding products “across the pond”.
They are making their way to the U.S. now…and I couldn’t be happier!
Bottles
I received one “closer to nature” BPA free bottle (which came with 1 nipple) and 2 extra nipples (of a different flow level) . I noticed when I first removed them from the boxes that there was something truly different about them. The shape of the bottle was different as well as the nipples themselves. My first thought was “Where were these when I was trying to flip back and forth between breast and bottle feeding?”. Yes ladies…a bottle with a nipple that truly seems to mimic a real breast. If these had been around when I was breast/bottle feeding my babies may all have nursed at the breast longer instead of deciding that a bottle was better. They also have a little valve in the nipple which lets itty-bitties eat without collapsing the nipple. I also found out (from reading the packaging) that the shape of the bottle was designed so that you can position your baby better so it feels more like breastfeeding for both of you….and it has easy indents for their hands when they get bigger.
Trainer Cups
It seems like so many companies promise you that they have come up with a product that is “leak-free” or “spill-free”…or whatever terminology that particular company likes to use. When I opened the package of trainer cups I noticed that these too said “spill-proof”. I was thinking to myself that every other company promised the same thing as well…and some just don’t deliver. We tried shaking the trainer cup, dropping it, leaving it upside down for a period of time (as it often winds up in a car), etc. No leaks. Not one. I also noticed that their valves were completely different from any other I’d seen as well…so maybe that was why. The spout was different too…it had a soft, gummy outer texture but it was stiffer than your typical trainer cup. It would fall somewhere between a soft nippled trainer cup and a regular sippy cup. Tinkerbell thoroughly enjoyed rubbing her little teething gums all over the spouts of her adorable cups. She chewed on them with her 6 little teeth as well…but the cups showed no signs of wear. After all the abuse we have put them through, I’m a firm believer. Tommee Tippee I {heart} you. You rock my socks.
Y’all I WILL be buying more Tommee Tippee products in the future. They seem to be built to last and all claims made by the company have rung true for me so far. Pregnant women who know me beware…because Tommee Tippee is in your future!
Tommee Tippee has a superb view of what real moms need and want…and what’s best for baby in their hearts.

These sound really neat. Too bad my son just went from trainer cup to cup or I would have to get the trainer cups for him.
